From our years of experience with travellers staying on our property, we know people seek an authentic bush break. Old Bara offers just that, it is the real thing. Plenty of space for everyone, pack the pushbikes, kites, cricket set, football, and even your four legged friend!

With a range of wildlife to see, bird calls to identify, yabbies to catch, as well as several walking and cycling tracks to explore, (NO MOTORBIKES), lots of space to fly a kite, go for a swim in the creek, kids are welcome to bring kayaks and small boats, you are bound to have a unique and entertaining time.

Experience the sound of silence, never heard in the city. Stars with no light pollution. So much space for kids to be kids!

No overcrowding at Old Bara - We offer acres not square metres!

Our campsites are all non-powered and very well spaced apart, the only people who will be close to you is the ones you choose to camp with.

Relax in the peace and quiet whilst enjoying a Mudgee wine or beer around the campfire under the star studded sky at Baradise.

For the security and safety of our campers, no one is allowed to enter the camp grounds before signing in at the main homestead.

If camping isn’t your thing, also on the property approximately 2km from the camp grounds, is the Old Bara Farmhouse in its own private, large, tree studded fully fenced garden. For years this original farmhouse, built in 1920, has been a popular farmstay especially for groups bringing family and friends together. the farmhouse can sleep up to 10 guests. No need to leave your furry friend behind as we offer pet friendly accommodation.
