Our Property
Old Bara is a 1100 acre working cattle property situated between Mudgee and Rylstone, NSW. The property has a number of paddocks for you to explore, as well as a creek running through majority of the property. There is also a farmhouse situated a few hundred metres from our homestead.
The property boasts a variety of undulating terrain, perfect for those interested in hiking and mountain biking - or for the young ones to explore!
Old Bara is an artists and photographers paradise, plenty of places to set up an easel and let the painting begin!
Whilst the property is picturesque in its own right, one of our favourite places is "The Picnic Spot". Situated in picnic paddock at the top of a hill is a picnic table offering exquisite views of the property. A definite favourite for those wanting to sit back enjoying a glass of wine and watch the sunset or stunning star filled skies at night.

The famous dunnies!! A camper's review: These fine structures have to be the best-designed dunnies (did I mention the wheelie-bin poo-shoots? What a creative idea.) in Australia….. no - THE WORLD!!!! They even have water connected, and liquid soap!!!!
